The MoneyShow is Canada’s premier finance and investing event
TORONTO – September 4, 2018 – On September 14, 2018, Horizons ETFs Management (Canada) Inc. (“Horizons ETFs”) will help launch The MoneyShow Toronto (the “MoneyShow”) – Canada’s largest finance and investing conference. With more than 50 expert speakers and panels covering a range of topics from exchange traded funds (“ETFs”) to macroeconomic forecasts to cannabis investing, the MoneyShow gives the investing public free access to insights and investment strategies from industry leaders.
Horizons ETFs’ President and CEO, Steve Hawkins, will open the conference with a presentation on the outlook for the Canadian ETF industry, which has experienced explosive growth in the past year. In 2017, Canadian ETF assets reached $147 billion, up from $113.6 billion in 2016.1 In 2018, those assets reached a new high of $160 billion.2

Horizons ETFs will lead a number of presentations as part of ‘The World of ETF Investing’ exhibition on September 14. Sessions will offer investors insights on ETFs, including how they work, different types of investment strategies and how to effectively manage your portfolio in changing economic conditions.
