In Rob Carrick’s “best” balanced ETFs guide, HCON (https://horizonsetfs.com/etf/hcon) and HBAL (https://horizonsetfs.com/etf/hbal) made the cut.
In his write-up, Carrick notes that “HCON targets a 50/50 stocks-bonds split (actual mix may drift a bit before the next rebalancing), while most other conservative funds are 40/60.” Meanwhile, Carrick says HBAL’s 70-30 target mix may interest investors that think the traditional 60/40 balance of stocks and bonds “has too much bond exposure.”
