Jane-Marie Rocca, vice-president and senior portfolio manager at Fiera Capital, says that she’s been hearing that ‘bonds are done’ for a long time. She adds that even though bonds are not as glamorous as equities, the movement of capital allows businesses to grow and give investors some diversification of their portfolios. “The combination of interest rates falling dramatically and corporate bonds doing better has produced equity-like return for ETFs,” such as The Horizons Active Canadian Bond Fund (HAD-https://horizonsetfs.com/etf/HAD). HAD was a Refinitiv Lipper Fund Award winner this year for best fund in the Canadian fixed income category for the three and five years ended July 31, 2020. https://horizonsetfs.com/news/Press-Release/Horizons-ETFs-Wins-Five-2020-Lipper-Fund-Awards
