Process Engineer (Co-op) (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

The Process Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting our investment operations and administration functions. You will be working with teams to improve different processes to provide monthly/quarterly data & reporting, projects, and other ad-hoc activities. This is an opportunity to join one of Canada’s most innovative ETF providers and gain invaluable insights into the investment management landscape.


Process Automation – Collaborate within the Operations Department to identify manual processes and tasks that can be automated to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk

System Enhancement & Documentation – Contribute to the enhancement of existing systems and tools used in the Operations Department, ensuring they remain efficient and effective. Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation and process guides.

Current state analysis – Complete process state analysis to understand requirements within the department. Conducts interviews and observations as needed to understand current processes and creates process maps (and other workflow documentation as required)

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current enrollment in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in finance, computer science, mathematics, economics or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel, Python, SQL and other programming languages
  • Strong interest in investment management, finance, and the ETF industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving mindset and a passion for automation and process improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take initiative when needed.
  • A passion for learning and a desire to contribute to the success of the team.
  • Background checks will be conducted
